The 4th PAYCHECK Tournament of the season got underway Sunday, August 17th at Oneida Shores. Following a night of heavy rain and wind it would be interesting to see if the weights would continues to exceed 21 pounds. The first 3 Oneida events of the year were all won with over 21 pounds.
Due to several boat issues, injuries, and family sickness from the day before just 16 teams showed up for this tournament, but they were all ready to fish no matter what the conditions!
Larry Mazur and Ian Renfrew weighed 15.30 pounds to finish 4th and win $.
Chad Gorman and Tim O’Connor had a great tournament weighing 16.55lbs and winning $ plus 2 plaques.
Yesterday’s winners Ken Golub and Jamie Hartman were the runner’s up today with 17.83 pounds, good for 2 plaques and $.
Stan Sypeck and Steve Croll collected 3 plaques and $ for their win which included lunker and 1st place Option Pot. Their big bass of 5.60 pounds anchored their winning weight of 18.56 pounds. Nice job!
The next 2 PAYCHECK Oneida Teams tournaments will be September 6 and 7 at Oneida Shores County Park.
