It was a beautiful day to be fishing on Oneida Lake August 16th as the PAYCHECK Tournament Series Oneida Teams Division held 2 more tournaments on this weekend.
Twenty six teams were on hand looking for big limits of smallmouth, largemouth, or a mixed bag. The weather held out throughout the tournament and 20 teams returned with a limit of 5 bass. A few teams unfortunately experienced mechanical breakdowns during the tournament.
Bridget Allen and her partner Frankie Roman would like to thank fellow competitor Aaron Stone for towing her back to Oneida Shores.
Winding up the day in 5th place were Chuck Finn and substitute, Joe filling in for Mike Yeager. They had 5 bass weighing 17.15 pounds and collected $250.
Bob and Aggie Makarewicz were the 4th place team today with 17.63 pounds earning them $330.
Winning $540 and 2 plaques for finishing in 3rd place were Stan Sypeck and Steve Croll whose creel of bass totaled 19.18 pounds.
Claiming second place were Jon Putmand and Jason Putman with 20.21 pounds. Including 2nd place Option Pot they walked away with 2 plaques and $900.
Winning the trifecta today (top weight, lunker, Option pot) were Ken Golub and Jamie Hartman. They placed 21.38 pounds of bass on the scale, including the big bass of the tournament at 6.19 pounds. They were awarded 3 plaques and a total of $1920. Congratulations!
