If you ever want to know in advance a good day for your kids to go kite flying, just look at the PAYCHECK schedule and pick any date…it’s sure to be a windy one. Saturday, June 14th was no different as the third PAYCHECK Premier tournament launched from Tydings Park in Havre de Grace, MD.
The second PAYCHECK Premier tournament was held out of Tydings Park on May 10th. The weather was great most of the day but unfortunately the predicted afternoon thunderstorms arrived early. Teams began arriving to the dock as early as 2:00PM as the lightning and thunder joined some heavy rain to make things a little scary.
A record field of 44 boats was in the water and ready to blast off at safe light on Saturday, April 12 at Tydings Park Marina. Despite a large kayak tournament going on simultaneously everyone did a remarkable job parking and staging so the tournament could launch on time. It seems like it’s been years
