Another Fantastic Friday Field of 29 teams were on hand for the 4th PAYCHECK Friday Teams tournament out of Anchor Marina on July 25th. It wasn’t a bad day weather-wise but it was certainly a weird day for fishing as the final weigh-in would prove.
Don Muir and Larry Craighead were the 7th place team and claimed the last check with a limit of bass weighing 14.22 lbs, good for $200. Thanks to Larry for recording the weights during weigh-in.
Rich Bruce and Bill McDonaugh, winners of last month’s PAYCHECK Friday event finished in 6th place with 14.46 pounds and collected $240.
Ken Wood, Jr and Willie Barrett finished in the money again winning $280 with 14.57 lbs, good for 5th place.
The father/son duo of Dave and Dale Seemans teamed up to finish in 4th place with 15.13 pounds earning them $350.
Dave Anderson and Claire Anderson completed the tournament with a 3rd place finish thanks to their bag that weighed 20.50 pounds including a 6.29 largemouth caught by Claire. They received 2 plaques and $580.
Pete Faverio and Chuck Rife landed in 2nd place when all was said and done with 5 fish for $20.82 pounds. Including 2nd place Option Pot, they received $965 along with 2 plaques.
Dan Capano and Jim Smith hit the PAYCHECK Trifecta…a tournament win, lunker, and 1st place Option Pot bonus. They pocketed $2045 along with 3 plaques for their huge sack of fish that weighed 23.58 lbs as they distanced themselves from the rest of the field.
